Listia

Listia is an auction site where you can earn points in order to get free stuff. When you sign up you will receive a points bonus and another when you list your first item. More points can be achieved through listing more auctions and earning points from them, doing surveys, shopping, referring friends, and more. I earned 1200 points in my first day just by signing up and listing an auction. I then used these points to bid on some items. I eventually won an auction as the highest bidder on some foreign coins. I collect coins but there are as many different and free things on this site as anything you can imagine. I remained skeptical at first and waited for my coins to ship. I only bid on auctions with free shipping so that my transactions remain free. I did actually receive the coins and very quickly. They were in great condition and only took a few days from winning to being delivered. Now that I have verified Listia I wanted to share with you how awesome it is. Once you have enough points or at least some points,  you can search for specific items, look by category, or view by auctions ending soonest. Then you simply bid on an item hoping to become the highest bidder when the auction ends. Often times people watch the auctions and send in large bids at the last second. This does not always work because not everyone will bid high enough or quickly enough. You will not get everything you bid on but if
you are careful and bid high enough you will definitely win the auction. You can list pretty much anything you want ranging from intangible items like recipes, pictures or other online items to clothing, toys, art, electronics, pet stuff, etc. Find some things that you no longer want, list them with a decent starting bid, make sure that the shipping will be worth the points you receive, and wait for the auction to end. After the auction ends you will receive the highest bid in points that will be added to your account and then you must ship the item as agreed upon. You can have people pay the shipping separately in money or just include free shipping as part of the auction. Even though listing free shipping will cause you to pay for the shipping it is more of a quid pro quo as you are trading turns paying for the shipping on items that you auction and then the items you bid on. Its sort of like Ebay's long lost crazy cousin. As a test run you can make your first auction bid entirely free from the sign up bonus and after that its up to you to decide how to use Listia.
